DETAILS:
Marty Pigue is a 55-year-old veteran who chose to dedicate his life to cleaning up Southern California's desert highways. This is his story. After leaving the service and traveling the entire country via bike, Marty opted for a simple life in the open desert stretching the California/Arizona border. It is there that he started to pick up trash and recyclables along the local highways as a way to give back to the community and protect the environment.
